i throw everything hate lots off bits and bobs about ,,,hate cupboards full off junk .......
A hoarder...when I moved into my own place after seperating from my ex,I thought it would be a good time to get back to basics...and I envisaged an all-cream interior with only a few 'tasteful' bits about. Hahaha!!..never!!.....every surface is covered and all my memories and bits are out-simply because I like it all and a lot reprsents good memories.....and then there are also all the books-lol...and the 'useful' bits stuffed in cupboards......oh-and the cat toys!!
I'm having a wardrobe clear out later today to see what I can give to charity or throw etc...

I tend to keep sentimental things like cards and letters.

Had a massive clear out a while ago and just decided to be ruthless, shred old docs, throw anything I've not used or looked for a while, gave some books I'd read and wouldn't read again to charity.

I am going to bite the bullet and have a proper clear out. I am going to be really really ruthless and chuck out all the stuff I no longer use/need. (The bin men are not due til Tuesday so I can always midgey rake it back before then!)

I am going to declutter LOL!

Enjoy the rest of your day

Hxx
Decluttering is good for the soul, and I now have a rule that more things leave the house every day than enter it. If you must keep stuff though, it is less depressing if it is out of sight, and I just bought 3 Lidl pine chests of drawers. The house is transformed.
The rule in my house is that if I haven't used something for two years, then it goes.... except for the super winter Rab jacket and the walking boots and all those useful tools I've acquired and the cd's I've not played and the unused threads (I've got hundreds of them lol) and the ribbons and the elastics and the pens and crayons ....and.....and...... oops...

In other words I have great intentions but am a hoarder of *useful stuff* lol

I regularly tidy things away and then buy the same thing and later find I have two of the same LOL thats more to do with a bad memory!

I have sorted out all of the clothes, sandals and shoes that I do not want, all are in good condition, some have the tags still on them! Will take the to local charity shops tomorrow.

I will tackle the handbags in the wardrobe later this week, but don't hold out much hope of getting rid of any of them!

I'm a hoarder and with 3 kids my house started to look bad so i bit the bullet and made a start took my stuff to a car boot last week and made 108 quid BONUS and a big bag of clothes when to charity too.Still got a long way to go tho'!

oh, a car boot sale eh? I never thought of that!

I don't havea car though
Hows the clear out going haysi?

I am a terrible hoarder. It was no problem, having a 3 bedroom house and only needing 2 of them. It meant everything that wasnt used regulary got dumped in the spare room. Unfortunately, that is now going to be the babys room, who is almost 4 months now lol Her cotbed is being delivered on Friday and we havent got room to put it up til we move one of the chest of drawers from our room to the babys room (she is staying in our room a bit longer). Until we have a clear out, we havent got room to put the chest of drawers in there! lol

The last time I had a really good clear out was when I had gone into labour! lol

Psychick, I have just about done as much as I am going to do today LOL, I have stored all my CDs and DVDs, have sorted my books, not going to get rid of any of them just now though (I am terrible I know!)

I have shredded a load of old letters and bills and sorted out my wardrobes which are in by spare room. My next big job is to lift the carpet in my room and put down flooring...well..I say 'my' next job but will get some help LOL

You must have been 'nesting' at your last clearout : D.
