At first glance, this one looks a little 'iffy'. However, a look at the stats instils me with a tad more confidence that the bet will bear fruit.

Not since 2010 has Man City's home fixture (in all comps) versus Liverpool produced less than 2 goals, irrespective of the league positions of the two teams. The last 5 such fixtures have produced a total of 20 goals.

The price for today's match producing over 1 goal ought to be 1/5.

Willy Hill go EVENS to a £10 max stake.

Bet's on.

If I wanted to take up your suggestion, how would I do it? I genuinely don't know.
Do I have to walk into a betting shop (shudder) and speak to the nice person behind the counter?
I put £6 on it earlier.

Either that or open an online account with them, Hoppy. Any new customer staking £10 with their first bet can claim £30 in free bets, subject to T&Cs - which you ought to read very carefully.
I'm not advocating you do this, mind, i'm simply answering your question.

A couple of first half goals would be nice, Dave:-)
OK. I've opened the account and placed the bet. It says £10 placed £20 returns.
Does this mean if it wins I get £20 total back, or £20 plus the £10 stake?
Question Author
It's 1/1 (evens) which means you get £10 back plus the £10 you staked. When you see odds, such as 4/1, the second number is your stake, the first is the number of times your stake is multiplied, then add your stake. So a £1 bet at 4/1 odds returns a fiver.
Which is why the 'Stealing money' bets are, imho, such good value. At the proper odds of 1/5, to make £10 profit from your bet, you would have to stake £50!
I wasn't offered the £30 in free bets, but your warning about the T&C's worried me anyway.

If this becomes off I'll try some more of your 'stealing money' suggestions. If it fails Willy Hill won't see me again.
This is not the start of a slippery slope.
Years ago, I put a bet on the number of seats that one of the parties would win in the general election (I think it was the Lib Dems).

It all rested on one of the last seats to be declared which went my way but as the bet was a special offer, I then had to put bets on about five or six events that fell within a specific range of odds, all before a certain time to get the winnings. Took a while looking at all sorts of bets but got it done eventually.

Ken do you keep stats for your "stealing money" threads? If I started with £10 what would my £10 now be worth?
I've done a few in my most recent betting spate & turned £10 into £46. I don't always stake the full £10.
One goal already. Come on boys.

TTT, £80 - i actually looked back a couple of days ago 'cos i'd lost the 'sheet' with the bets on it. :-)
But it's what i do with the tenner, TTT. On 7 of the occasions when the bet has obliged, i've won even more with following bets using the tenner - and on 2 of those occasions, the returns have been around the £100 mark.
I was just about to type "Can't see this staying at 1-0."

Another tenner profit, now how best to use it:-)
1-1 kerching!
Yes!!
Question Author
Hoppy, hope i haven't created a monster :-)
Well not many gamblers can win overall ken so you clearly are a rarity.

It's as i said earlier, TTT, WH's 'Epic Value' bet is always worth investigating. I do my research and if i don't think the stats back up the bet, i leave it alone.
And i must also point out that if, on those first few times i did the bet, it had gone pear-shaped, i probably wouldn't have carried on doing them.
So, yeah, in this instance, with this particular bet, i am ahead of the enemy. And long may it continue:-)
It's obviously a "loss leader" to entice punters onto the site & get them to return for more in the hope/expectation they will make other more risky bets.
I missed out on this one .... I'm not sure if I can say I would have def placed a bet ..... but I def would have been tempted.

Oh well :(
Well it's enticed me onto their site, but I won't be succumbing and making riskier bets. 'Stealing Money' is my future, and they will regret taking me on.
