The International break is over & the 1st kick-off at the weekend is 12:30 on Saturday 9th, which is also when the **free transfer period ends** - don't leave it too late!

Well, I was a bit like the "curates egg" this weekend. One team did very well indeed and the other, carefully picked using the same criteria, was hopeless. 89 points for BatshuayiLikeIt is my best for the season so far but well short of my best ever. Ahh well, more work to do.

I made a horrible error yesterday by transferring in a player called AYEW for last nights West Ham match, only to find this morning that it was NOT that AYEW but a player from Swansea.
Even worse - the West Ham player scored a goal, and I had made him captain as well - 14 points lost and one useless transfer

Doh X Ray. Another to watch is a player listed as Jorgenson for Huddersfield on the Sky FF lists, who is named everywhere else as Mathias. Even on his shirt.

Hi All, I was so tempted yesterday to bring in Javier 'Little pea' Hernandez and make him Cpt for the day... pleased now that I didn't it would've being a wasteful transfer because I'd have to change him back again. I honestly didn't know the result of yesterdays game until this morning.. you keep tripping up X-Ray and give the rest of us a chance... I like your thinking ;-)

I would not be bothered if we lost every game as long as we won the league.

Hi everyone - well, after the weekend I'm up 8 positions for one team, with the other staying put - I'll take that, thank you!

I feel a couple of positions aren't quite right yet, so back to tweaking (I tried twerking, it was a disaster) for this weekend.

In case captain-shuffling is needed, this is a reminder that Game Week 6 begins with Bournemouth v Brighton this evening, kick-off 20:00.

Tomorrow's first game deadline is @ 12:30, Sunday's @ 13:30.

Hi Lie In. Been out for the day but have just checked that my Captains are set for the 3 days. I did it yesterday, but still felt compelled to check that they were indeed set.

Hi all, It's been the best weekend I've ever played FF, no injuries or suspensions, so no transfers needed or used, I selected my captains wisely and have the highest score I have ever had with One hundred and twenty-two points in a single game week.

Germany are a very difficult team to play, they had 11 internationals out there today.

Morning Arks. Perhaps we can give Rob's Robbers a game after all. Same here my best points haul ever in a week. 140 lovely points for HiHoSilverLining. The "Baggies" are making a fist of it too, so it looks pretty competitive thus far. Same here no injuries, but I am not expecting that to be the case after a bit of light training.

Hi Togo, some good going that, I wonder who your Captain on Saturday were hmm, its a tough one ;-) As you say lets hope we can keep up the pace and it becomes a real competitive battle for the title this season but with so many games still to be played it could be flipped on its head. I knew someone would beat me on points bloomin' Spurs at Wembley tsk! three let me down in that game.

Hi all - well I'm just so thrilled for you, Arky & Togo! Woohoo! No really, I couldn't be happier for you both!

52 & 53 points for my teams - 1 from 4 strikers scored, 2 midfielders left on the bench, all captains got appearance points only, a red card & not one MOTM award.

Meh, pah, humbug & a side order of heigh-ho... ;-)

I know what is around the corner - I just don't know where the corner is. But the onus is on us to perform and we must control the bandwagon
