Hi everyone! Our initial thread has passed its sell-by date, so I'm posting this to keep us showing in Latest Posts. Here's the original thread -

http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Sport/Football/Question1560700.html

I'll post a continuation thread around this date each month & ask Ed to sticky them for us.

I hope everyone's muddling along ok through the injury & transfer-strewn melee going on?

The unthinkable is not something we are thinking about at the moment

Subscribed to thread LiK. Been trying to second guess likely selections and would point out that the scout site you originally posted has now upgraded the selection forecast from last May to be up to date.

Ta Togo - I looked at that this morning & only Arsenal had been done! I might have another rethink tomorrow, but am fairly happy with the teams.

After the first weekend (perhaps 2), hopefully we'll have a slightly clearer picture of what's to come.
Hiya fella's yes you both will be looking up at me knowing I'm going to be top all season ;-)
Hello chaps I've entered again ..good luck everyone :)
Question Author
Good to see you, mighty! :-)
>>>After the first weekend (perhaps 2),

Note for those doing Fantasy Football that there are three weekends of Premier League football (12th/13th Aug, 19th/20th Aug, 26th/27th Aug), then there is an international break.

England play on the 1st and 4th September, so it may be worth holding off any transfers till AFTER the international break as there is always a few players who come back from those injured.

The next Premier matches are then 9th/10th September (Premier week 4)

Ta for that Guilbert.

TonyAV - hope you see this in LP - are you going to join us? Go on, you know you want to :-)
Have you joined Guilbert??
Nice one Mighty.
Question Author
Togo - Guilbert did explain he regrets being unable to join us, but he's already got 11 teams on the go in other Leagues.
I know LiK. But he is already participating, so how difficult could it be to just join the AB league? Just enter the PIN, and the "work" put into the other leagues is automatic.
Question Author
I know... ;-)
Haha pincer movement. (&_*)
Good to see you back on board Mighty.

One more day to invite maybe a few more to join us if they want to be in from the start, having said that none of my players KO until Saturday.
Okay. I've left it to the last minute and i'm on my jollies. And, more to the point, i'm a little bit - how can i say - 3 sheets to the wind. So i've entered a team, but have left it to the website to pick the 11 players. It's not the winning. It's the taking part that counts. Yeah, right, hic!
Good to see you remembered what important Ken ;-) and welcome on board.
As you will probably know with Friday's now showing live games the Premier League kicks off with Arsenal V Leicester at 7:45... there is a free transfer window in September if you want to save you 40 allocated ones for the season.
Nice one Ken. Good luck if you are at a meeting. Haydock this evening? (Friday)
Nice one and thanks Ed for making this thread a 'Sticky'.
Well, here we go...the long awaited day has arrived. 23 members is the same number as last season, unless there are any late comers.
Best of luck to everybody, welcome back - may the best man win
Question Author
