Hi All. I went mad on Jan 5th and sent for a pair of these " Ugg boots" for my wife.I ordered them direct online from an Australian company which sounded genuine?. However I have since had a credit card statement stating that the money has been taken from my bank but we have not recieved the goods!!.....I did recieve an email from the suppliers stating that the goods were despached on Jan 8th and could take 5 to 10 WORKING DAYS to arrive. That time is fast approching and I am beginning to think that I may have been ripped off. Friday Jan 22 is the deadline.....My main question is has anyone had similar problems?....S.O.G

Don't give up yet, remember the whole world came to a standstill cos of a few snowflakes!
So many women are walking around in fake Uggs, they pay £30 and end up walking on the "ankles" of the boots after a week or two, I bought my missus a pair for £60 last year and thankfully they are not snide ones
Y do they all want to wear the same clothes.....where's individuality? Bleedin' sheep!

Elvis. With P&P £110. So you can see why I'm a bit concerned. The website looked very genuine but then again they all do. The company did say that the delivery dates were estimated at 5 to 10 working days so maybe I should try to be patient a little longer? S.O.G
What was the website? The majority of the websites are fake, and I would say if you only paid £110 then they probably were fakes.

Remember, there is a difference between Ugg Boots (generic term for that kind of boot) and boots made by Ugg Australia.
I think Ugg boots are ugly. Maybe Ugg is short for ugly. :-)

Sad old git - give allowances for the weather, but do call your credit card company and let them know. they will investigate...

chazza the website was uggstore.com.au which I thought sounded authentic. However I have sent them an email stating that I have not recieved the boots and could they offer any reasons why not?....Society I agree with you that they are ugly but people wiii buy them including my wife. I will give it a few more days and see what happens.

Update for all. We had notification this morning from Royal Mail that a parcel had arrived at their collection point in my home town and that if we wish to retrieve it we have to pay £24 customs fee.I assume they will be the boots in question. However with the postage and packing and customs fees I could probably have got them over counter at Boots (no pun intended) for somewhere the same price.Thank you all for your advice and comments.Cheers ....S.O.G
