Nice I used to a good bolognaise
A deconstructed sandwich. Does that mean you don’t put the two slices of bread together? Just your choice of filling and some bread on a plate?
raining here and roast beef for dinner
Question Author
Lol Naomi almost basically a salad with the bread on the side but Mr Millard thinks he’s getting a posh dinner!
Singapore noodles, chicken, with fresh greens.
Lemon chicken, roast spuds, carrots and greens...maybe some other veg as well. Depends how hungry he is (he's napping)
Battered cod, baby potatoes steamed and broad beans.
Sun shining you are lucky!
Roast pork and all the trimmings!

That all sounds lovely ladies
Sweet Fanny Adams tonight, did a big roast at lunchtime, chicken, pigs in bondage (I use very long rashers of streaky bacon and cover the chipolatas from end to end so they cannot get out, lol), sprouts, roasties, carrots, parsnips, melted butter with a bit of swede in it ;) home made stuffing and cranberry sauce. I couldn't be faced with bread sauce today but I really need larger dinner plates.

How were your broad beans, Martin?
Question Author
Sharon it is lovely and warm, we have had quite a relaxing day given we are both stressed at the moment
Question Author
Broad beans were delicious, I am so glad I grew so many of them.
I also have borlotti and edamame beans growing
Battered haddock, potato croquettes & mixed veg.
Angus rump steak saignant served with gratin dauphinois, roasted chicory, some green beans and baby asparagus, some mush too and also the basis to a sauce. Not sure about the red wine yet but probably a Malbec.
Martin, I had to look up potatoes bravados (or what ever they’re called) that you mentioned yesterday, they sound very tasty, have made a note to try them.
Tonight we’re having easy peasy jacket spuds with tuna, mayo and sweet corn filling. I’d much rather be having Ummmms roast or chouxs pigs in bondage etc but I’m far too tired to make much of an effort today.
Question Author
They are yummy and so easy.
I would love a pig in bondage but alas my tummy rarely tolerates meat these days
Thai green veg curry for me and roast leg of lamb with all the bits for him..
We had cannelloni bean stew with ciabatta bread.

That sounds lovely
