Morning Everyone, I hope we're all well.

I wondered if many, or any, of you watch Question Time on Thursdays?

This week's line-up:

Lord Falconer
Theresa May MP
Clare Short MP
George Galloway
Melanie Phillips

Which of these do you find the most repulsive? I'll put £200 on Iraq being mentioned within the first 3 minutes of the show.

Will anyone be about to discuss the show tonight "live" on AB? I would quite happily chair (I'm no Dimbles however!) and try to keep the peace. What do you think? Could become a regular feature on AB if it proves popular?

I thought we should test the water with this!

All the best

I think you may have to set your sights lower, I'm afraid, Spare Ed, and be content with finding out which is considered the 'least' repulsive...........

It may take me some while to get back to you on this.............after all you have given us a bumper choice :o)
got to be george galloway, i'll never be able to sucessfully erase those images....
i think the image of galloway prancing around in a catsuit and purring in my ear, would be too much to bear. how can anyone take him seriously ?
Margaret Mead, the American anthropologist, stated that TV creates tension in the viewer. When it comes to programmes such as 'Question Time', I find myself agreeing with her statement 100%. So often, we watch the panel members giving out utterly wrong answers to questions for which some of us, as viewers, know the right answers. The wrong answers are broadcast to the nation and absorbed as gospel by much of the population. And we can do absolutely nothing to correct the situation!!! Infuriating - which is why nowadays I never watch the programme!!

So no one fancies a AB/#bbcqt "live" commentry session then?

Spare Ed
With a line up that includes George Galloway and Claire Short there will be a few harsh words said, and you are right about Iraq as guaranteed it will be discussed. Put your money on it !!
Spare Ed,

You could start the commentary session now, as 'Question Time' answers are predictable at the best of times, but this lot are all very well known for their polarised views.

I find Melanie Phillips the most repulsive. Theresa May MP the best of a bad bunch.
Lord Falconer - Government line (Brown ar$s licker)
Theresa May MP - Tory Line (the alternate view)
Clare Short MP - Cheesed off leftie (a bit sad and pathetic)
George Galloway - Extreme leftie (Maverick and bonkers with a few unpalatable truths thrown in)
Melanie Phillips - Extreme Right Wing (Just bonkers)

Okay, we'll start now:

"I can't believe how little they filter the audience for this show - you'd think they'd keep the nutters outside. Saying that - it seems the panel is a desperate bunch; maybe that threw the BBC's nutter filter out of control..."

Your turn.

All the best

Watching #bbcqt.

Claire Short came of quite sensibly. Too bad she is smiling smugly at everyone when anyone else is speaking.

couldn't you just fry chips on Falconer..........
Maybe she is thinking about her lucrative expenses sheet.
Which of these do you find the most repulsive?

My vote goes to Dimbleby!
Question Author
lilsecret - this may be correct!

He is awful isn't he craft? "I am not just saying this because I am Tony Blair's Best friend"

Reckon we'll get any electoral reform chat?

QT ed
Dimbleby went down in my estimation with the BNP guy's appearance on the programme.....not the fact that Griffin was on there but the way Dimbleby handled it.
Question Author
Sir.Prize - Leave Dimbles alone. He is one of the few of the good. Did you know he took a 80% pay cut to keep his job a couple of years ago? He actually Enjoys what he does!

QT ed
or no-one else would employ him...........
