Nice one Chris, but I don't think it will make the Charts ;-)

There have been far worse Christmas Number 1 songs though, Canary42 ;-)
I have spent all afternoon packing for my impending move and I am tired. This cheered me up. Here is another one

I'm going for a sleep.
I don’t like cats , there I’ve said it! There are many reasons , too many to list, but principally their fickle cupboard love nature, their total lack of loyalty, why keep pet that that would *** off in a second if you stopped pampering it. However I live with someone who leaves the heating on when we go out, and get this,” in case the cat gets cold!”this sort of thing is an incurable disease and the internet of cats has just made all these cat nutters worse.
/// the internet of cats has just made all these cat nutters worse. ///

On the other hand it gives some folk (like me) the "joy" of owning a cat without the hassle of actually having one.

Thanks, Wolfie.

I'm reminded of the time when I threw a load of Dreamies on the living room floor for my lot and then heard a meow to one side. I turned round to see a large feline stranger sitting there, demanding his share. He moved in for a few weeks (much to the annoyance of my lot) but then just disappeared:

I love my little cat, but I haven’t been on holiday for four years because of her.
Next time I’ll get a male. They don’t seem to be quite so cleangy

"Total lack of loyalty", ACF?

If I go out, my darling Moonbeam waits for me outside, even in the worst of weather, until I return (despite having a cat flap to get him back into the warm again if he so chose). He hates being left on his own and regards me as his own personal property. None of my three cats will go near to any other human, not even when offered food by them.
Urg. Clingy, is what I meant
Well yes , I can see that, but left wondering how to view a person who gets their cat kicks online? A sort of “feline voyeur” maybe. You do realise that cat videos on line are controlled by the Elon Musk of cats. (He looks a bit like cat) The cat keepers think they posted it but really the evil cat empire did it. Cease your viewing immediately! If not the cats will win.
Oh, I posted before Buenchico. Cats are funny creatures. Who knows which ones would follow you to the end of the Earth, and which couldn’t give a flying wotsit?
I know mine is the former
Posts crossed over my last was aimed at canary
I am afraid buenchico, you are a hopeless case, utterly in thrall to the propaganda spread by the evil Elon Musk of cats. You do realise that if you were not around they would simply go somewhere else?
And if you were unfortunate enough to die, then they would likely eat some of you before they went looking elsewhere
///their total lack of loyalty///

I would question that. On a local bus route which regularly use there was a cat which late afternoon would come out and lie in or on a bus shelter to await its owner's return from work. Until some bloody louts kicked it so badly it had to be euthanised. Local residents were so incensed they commissioned a memorial which now resides on a bench opposite the bus shelter, so Missy lives in perpetuity.

I am now horribly allergic to cats. I'm sad about that, because until a few years ago my cats had always found me and they've been wonderful. My last cat, Minette, appeared when I arrived in a my very run-down farmhouse in France, she was sitting on a bale of straw in the barn. I fed her and the mice disappeared.
But she became more than that. Once eating regularly she came into season and (still very young) had kittens. When her pains began she came to me and sat next to me on the couch, pushing her head against me for comfort as I caught the kittens and popped them into a cardboard box on a wrapped hot-water bottle.

After that we became very close all her life. A vet once said in astonishment 'She loves you'. I replied that I loved her. I buried her under a rosemary bush and still miss her.
Aircooledfool,

Cats are intelligent, manipulative, sociopathic, evil, narcissistic furrballs ... and many other bad things. They are who they are and don't give a flying fig what anyone thinks.

They can be loyal, protective and loving when they feel like it.

They are endlessly entertaining little bullies.

Etc :-)

Canary, that is a terrible story. Maybe the thugs should have been euthanized too.

I love this wee cat
I know lots of folks on here are cat lovers, and you all know my feelings about cats. It's not good. Cats are not good on my property, leaving their mess all over the place. I've tried all the suggestions about deterring them, but none of them are any use. Please don't make excuses for them. I am now at the stage where I am considering spreading broken glass around the place. Sorry folks, but if that works, then that's the answer.
