morning all, another early start, but i don't mind, as its quiet and i can relax with my coffee, though its a tad warm here, so any more sleep is not going to happen.
I hope that your day is a good one -
had a very busy day yesterday, and a somewhat frustrating one at that. The person who was supposed to assemble my new console table didn't show up, after many calls to Amazon it looks like i will have to wait till Friday before someone can come out and put it together for me.
At least the charity people did indeed come and collect all the furniture and bric a brac so that was good. also the new clock and pouffe arrived and look good. So its coming together, albeit slowly.
early ablutions as i have a telephone engineer calling in to try and sort out my phone/line, as it crackles, cuts out and makes loud noises according to some who phone me. He is due at 8-1, i sincerely hope he is early.... as i want to make the most of the day.
don't know what the weather is doing but its dull, grey at the moment.
Same again as yesterday fir me. Working from home and will drop the rat off at Nursery. He's having a sleepover tonight and OH and I are going for a special belated anniversary meal.
I'm off tomorrow and Friday (subject to my boss sanctioning the leave which she invariably does at the 11th hour).
Weatherwise I'm not too sure what's in store for us. Hopefully we'll get a parking space tonight not too far from the restaurant - I'd better take an umbrella just in case.
morning Lcg, bit tired after yesterday, but i'll live,
sounds like you are busy too, i hope you enjoy your time out
take your brolly, the weather is very changeable.
i don't know whether to attempt putting this table together myself, but not sure i could cope if its in 40 pieces... i did put the nests of tables together and that wasn't difficult.
Good morning everyone. Finally out of isolation today after having the virus. Haven't been on this thread for a week as wife had bad fall and so had other things on my mind.
She fell from the top of the stairs to the bottom head first we think as she can't remember. We heard her fall but it was in the early hours so no one saw her fall. Part of her scalp was ripped apart and there was much blood.
Morning all, a heavy shower coming through here at the moment - dark grey skies and then a burst of sunlight showing. Good night's sleep after the previous one! Coffee in the pot will be ready shortly.See we have taken another gold medal in Nippon-land.
Thanks for good wishes. Yes called for ambulance which thankfully didn't take long to come. They took her in then decided to send her home later that day as they said she tested positive for the virus and she would be safer at home. She was home for 2 days and not really right and had another fall in the bathroom so had to get them again and this time they have kept her in. She can only walk with a frame at the moment so hope they will be able to help and get her back to normal soon.
