Believers or non believers, why do we do it?
Asked myself this question today. The preachers will preach, the unbelievers will still be unbelievers, nothing new under the sun and all that.
So...what do you gain by posting in R&S?

How much do you learn in R&S Naomi?

Myself, not much apart from the fact that some members of AB can drone on and on and on and...
1ozzy, I’ve learnt a lot from R&S - not least that spiteful people just can’t help themselves - confirmed by your unnecessary performance this morning.
Solomon, Summing up his entire investigation, says: The conclusion of the matter, everything having been heard, is: Fear the true God and keep his commandments. For this is the whole obligation of man. For the true God himself will bring every sort of work into the judgment in relation to every hidden thing, as to whether it is good or bad.” (Ecclesiastes 12:13, 14)

You 'will' have your day. The Bible was not written for nothing.
And there’s^ your God-given free will, folks …. do as I say or else.
When new information, or a new understanding of existing information comes to light, my appreciation of the scriptures changes, especially in relation to science, contemporary events, and the thinking and understanding of influential theologists and Christian apologists.
I hope by this process to gain a greater understanding of God, and to be more willing to submit myself to His will.
The views of other ABers, whether believers or atheists are also valuable and informative.
