The bible is true.
Atheists, or rather Hatetheists, refuse to recognise thedd signs of the times, which are comprehensively described in the bible, which is accurate.
Stubbornness prevents the Hatetheists from recognising the truth.
Covid is but one aspect, but is like the first domino to fall, the rest will crash soon.
You can check what the bible says yourself, and compare it to contemporary events.
Time is getting short, things will never be the same again.
Will you take notice?

// Theland, none of the New Testament was written by anyone who met Jesus or heard him speak - including Paul. //

this can only be called a stupid ( or ignorant ) post - see above I did tell, St John was an evangelist and apostle - they say

as Naomi so wisely points out I have never met an evangelist or apostle
They’re wrong.
Question Author
Peter Pedant - I'm sure you must have met evangelists, who are ready to tell you what they believe, and why they believe it.
The murky waters of higher criticism, and the ready preparedness to dismiss the gospels, is a shame, simply because, after all, miracles don't happen, do they?
Of course they don't!
We can't believe can we, when we have science to rely on?
Yet, our very existence in this universe from nothing is a miracle.
Life from inert chemicals is a miracle.
Evolution is so full of holes and problems, that it most certainly is not a miracle.
And last, but not least, our consciousness, totally inexplicable, in spite of our progress in science and artificial intelligence, remains probably the biggest and most challenging mystery.
But, of course, we don't believe in miracles. Do we?
[email protected]..... I will Not dismiss anything you say and I doubt that others would if you can be fully truthful by confirming what you say with actual facts.. However, it is your style to avoid answering questions with lots of rubbishy nonsense and saying such things as ..."Read the bible, which is factual, and you'll find an answer" ...." "Search and you'll find...." I'm not doing research for you" etc. etc.

You don't even answer questions which require just a Yes or No.
If I am wrong please tell me and I'll resubmit such as those I have asked on previous occasions.

Hans.
Constantly amazed at how this idiocy is indulged daily into 200+ posts, from the same repetitive god-botherer who is constantly suffering bouts of doubt and/or religious fervour in equal measure, depending on the direction of the wind that day.
Tiresome doesn’t even come close......
Question Author
Chilldoubt, I'm so sorry you find it tiresome, but not too tired to call me a god botherer.
Never mind.
By the way, have you noticed how much fun some of the posters on here are having?
Not many fellow believers join in, but never mind.

(Would it make you happy if I stopped posting?)
Question Author
Hans, I am always truthful.

The problem is we dispute the facts.
//the same repetitive god-botherer who is constantly suffering bouts of doubt//
Not like me to come to Theland's defence but I dont think its as much about doubt as trying to convince himself that he's right.
Theres a subtle difference!

I was much the same in my teenage 'Born Again' years.
Chilldoubt, I'm so sorry you find it tiresome, but not too tired to call me a god botherer.

Just thought I’d respond in kind to your hatetheist quip.
The problem is we dispute the facts.

You mean you’re quoting the bible as FACT???

R O F L M A O!!!

That’s the end of my indulgence, I’m already 2 posts over quota!
Question Author
My hatetheist quip was wrong. I apologised.
I regret it. Z
//Just thought I’d respond in kind to your hatetheist quip//
''Forgive them, they know not what they do''

As you ride off on your bike, into the sunset, remember me.
Question Author
Spoken like a true Christian. Thank you.
I am amazed that you are able to utter such as you have at 17.41.

I am now wondering how many ABers would confirm that Theland the theist is always truthful.

Hans.
Prophecy aside Theland,
If there really is a god, an afterlife etc, then my conscience is clear.
Ive made mistakes in life. Im sorry for those mistakes.
Ive made judgments where I shouldnt have.
Im a human being and get things wrong.
God would know this???
And yet he would send me to a torment that I could not even begin to understand in this life, let alone the next??
It doesnt make any sense.
Theland, //The problem is we dispute the facts. //

You don't post 'facts. You have no interest in 'facts'.
Ohhh, and no, you are not always truthful, Theland.
Question Author
Really? Example?
Theland, //The problem is we dispute the facts. //
You don't post 'facts. You have no interest in 'facts'.

so there - - - is no dispute on facts. SO you agree on 239 posts on all points ? I really dont think so but hey AB is full of contradictions and this may well be another

is this the end of times? I think alot of us are beginning to pray they are - ter daah !
