If I were to ever take up (or search for) any spiritual path again, I don't think that I could go far wrong with looking at its practicioners first.
This guy has so much love and compassion (and wisdom if im honest) that the self righteouss and indoctrinated could learn from.

Vulcan - I never forget my loving God.
Cleverjo - For starters, JWs and RCs are not biblically true, and are very interested in recruitment.
CoE have lost the plot and don't follow scripture.
Theland, either of those, or others, can try to recruit as much as they like. I’m not joining them.
Theland, yet again you prove yourself intolerant and aggressive towards anyone of a different belief to you.

You're right, the treatment of Rohingyan people is disgusting, not to dissimilar to the treatment of the Jews by the Nazi party (who were, let's seeeeee... Ah right, Christian).

But, the Burmese government are extremists, and not reflective of wall Buddhists.

On the whole, Buddhism is a peaceful religion, one of oneness and meditation. If I was to find faith in a religion, it would probably be through Buddism.
"On the whole, Buddhism is a peaceful religion," so on the whole eh?
Bible based Christianity is 100% peaceful, like its founder, Jesus Christ.
Theland//Bible based Christianity is 100% peaceful//

Really? I can’t refer to chapter and verse like some others can, but I’m sure there are many contradictions to your statement in the Bible.
No there isn't. Any you find can be explained with some research.
//Bible based Christianity is 100% peaceful, like its founder, Jesus Christ.//

Christianity has a history of forcing itself upon other cultures and people, from the Crusades onwards.

By the by, the Laughing Buddha is based on a 10th century Chinese Buddhist monk. He is not the Buddha of the Buddhist faith, who dates back to approx 500BC.
Crusades contradicted the teaching of the bible and were authorised by another apostate Pope.
Still, they were in the name of your religion and your God.

If you don't differentiate between Buddhist factions, why should I with Christian?
Theland at 23.23 tues. Jesus didn’t found Christianity. Paul (Saul) is your man.
I'd go with the Quakers too.
Naomi - who did Paul proclaim?
Mozz - nobody is chasing you mate.
//Mozz - nobody is chasing you mate.//

WhatchootalkinaboutTheland?
Theland - // Buddhists - very violent towards the Rohynga in Myanmar.
The only good thing is they worship some fat guy. //

Given the form that Christians have for violence across the centuries, I don't really think you are in a position to point the finger - do you?
Theland - // Bible based Christianity is 100% peaceful, like its founder, Jesus Christ. //

Tell that to the residents of Belfast who lived through the sectarian violence of the 1970's.
"Why should I . . . , , , , "
Am not chasing anybody so should I answer the question, " Whŷ should I . . . . . ..."
Who cares?
Andy My wife is a Belfast girl, has many relatives there.
I take your point though.
So take mine.
If the Bible was the rule book, no violence would ever happened.
Oh I get it. I understand if you don't want to debate, constantly defending the indefensible must be tiring for you.
