NAILIT FILTER NOW FITTED.
Debating with Theland is like watching EastEnders - things appear to be happening week in week out, but when you stop and actually think about, nothing happens at all. It's just noise going round in circles.

I have given up replying directly to Theland, I become irritated when he follows the same pattern - he sets up an argument, tells non-believers they are wrong, patronises, gets told off for patronising, retires hurt and wounded, then comes around again to start over.

I don't watch EastEnders for the same reason.
I was interested in some genuine answers... I appreciate that nobody has the answers to everything, but would still like to see how theland arrived to his conclusions x
''NAILIT FILTER NOW FITTED''
An accolade at last.....
Still no answers tho...

History, prophecy, and inspired writings in the Bible, for starters.
Theland, I would really like to hear what "you" think and why. I am not interested in rereading old books ,would just like your own thoughts please x

Same old...crap!
nailit - Your patience is to be admired, but I am sure it could be better used elsewhere than the cyber fog-plaiting that is exchanging with Theland.
Just where in the bible does it talk about economic collapse or greedy bankers? Just where does it mention the melting of the ice caps, just where does it mention global warming???

Just one verse will do.

Just trying to educate Andy ;-)
Nailit, prophecies only work backwards. Occasionally;-)

For education to succeed, it has to be assumed that the recipient is actually interested in learning something.
I have come to the conclusion that Theland posts here with some outrageous supposition just so that people respond with animosity. It seems to be a 21st century equivalent of self flagellation, to remind him, I presume, of his continued sin that he's always talking about.

My downfall I guess …..
I try nevertheless!
Theland could always just respond to the questions though, and have a proper conversation?

Theland is a devout Christian, it's not how they roll.

You need to understand, and what you need to understand, is that actually, you don't understand!!!
I know nothing... lol. But if theland is willing to explain, I am willing to listen. Sadly, he usually disappears... xx

If your version of 'explainng' includes being patronised like an eight-year-old with a personality issue, then trust me, Theland's your man!

If you want sensible debate and reasonable exchanges, you need to look elsewhere, you won't find them with him, or any other devout Christian, they are too busy wringing their hands at how much you need what they've got, and how pitiable you are for not believing what they believe.
Thanks x I'm sure I am... but even so, am ready and willing to read theland's theories on the beginning of the world... etc. Just wish he was willing to explain... xx
