I dare say, it would be a bit hard for a woman to sport a full beard as some men do. The traditional full Islam beard is now getting popular with more young men of all persuasions. The 'loudmouth' muslim is one that needs to shout its unbelievable beliefs with some vigour to others, so as to convince himself that he is not uttering complete rubbish.

I can't say that I have heard many loudmouthed Muslim women ... quite the opposite in fact!

Yes, we know the last line was throwaway humour. That aside, don't most extremist male Muslims sport beards ? In which case both the loud-mouths and the quiet ones will.

The hair on the head is commonly short by fashion and whenever I see one I recall the sixties proverb - beware the man whose beard is longer than his hair ( gay boy for thos who werent around then )

I must disagree. Adult male facial hair is natural not ghastly. What is strange is the social convention to shave it off in order to look like little boys. Of course it need not be left unkempt. Should be as kempt as possible.

Talbot, you will be surprised. I came across a muslim woman with scarf on and everything, i was told she was from Pakistan and had only been in the country a few years. She had been driving erratically (god knows how she passed her test) and reversed into me on the school run. I told her this was her fault and i needed her details and she started to swear. My god i was stunned, she didn't look the type. She looked quite and kind. lol but she was going off and going for me like she wanted to fight...i was mortified. Thankfully other parents witnessed what happened and calmed her down and called the police. She was wild.

Talbot...no, not really. Actually she is quite nice ! But I just wish she would have a shave.

I always think that a mustache can be the making of some men but its rarely terribly flattering on a lady. I have just had a shave and it only took 5 mins !
