@goodlife - You or Truthabounds have posted, pretty much word for word, that exact same defence of the ark, by the alleged "naval architect and marine engineer of 40 years standing" before - and as before, there is no link so that we can check either the veracity of the defence or the bona fides of the "expert". Anecdotal drivel then, barely worthy of consideration.

The virtually identical wording provides the clue - More cut and paste from the JW playbook,it would seem.The sad thing is,it matters little anyway - there are so many holes and logical inconsistencies in the whole noahs ark and the great flood myth that the size of the ark remains probably one of the most inconsequential.

The fact that someone somewhere provided you with one alleged "naval architect and marine engineer" willing to endorse some biblical myth is a meaningless irrelevance.

Goodlife, If I had to design a large floating vessel that maximised the internal space and stability given the limitations of the materials available and had no motive power, it wouldn't look much like the fanciful illustrations produced by the JWs.
