That awkward moment when my 6 year old daughter's friends turn up at the door with an invitation to a Halloween Party. It is against everything I stand for but what to do?

Thanks for your responses everyone - some of them made me laugh out loud. I just wanted the question to be about how to tell my daughter that I would prefer her not to go to the party rather than having to defend my Christian faith, that's all!
Why do you feel you have to 'defend' your Christian faith? As far as I can see no one is attacking it - least of all your daughter. She's 6 years old. If you don't want her to go to the party, tell her she's not going - and if you feel the need to compensate her when the party is going on, take her out somewhere nice yourself.
