The premise of this book is of the existence of a designer which would of necessity be unimaginably more complex than the alleged design. Where and how would such an entity come to exist without a universe from which to learn and test his methods and pattern his design? Evolution is the only laboratory where we see the development of more and more complex organisms. This brings us full circle back to us as the creator of myths and the discoverer of truths.

The title says it all - if you want to believe in a book written some 2000 years ago by middle eastern nomadic desert goatherds, rather than the sum total of the accumulated knowledge of several hundred years of scientific research (they can't both be right), then go ahead - it's your choice.
Wow - this is dire.

You have to have some grudging respect for the Intelligent design crowd - they put a fair effort with the flagellum and there was quite a bit of work in knocking it down.

But this is poor - feeble human babies refut evolution? I don't think so!

I think it would be a somewhat humorous but overall probably too irritating.
The quote of Evolution being a grown up fairy tale - roundly debunked here:

This is a mish mash of old rubbish arguments

Yeah, I think that has got to be one of the most ironic quotes I have ever read. Surely it is religion which is a fairytale for grown ups.
Christianty its self has recanted the Bible, for thousands of years the Bible was the be all and end all of everything, it set the rules and was immutable. Now in the face of scientific evidence there is a need to re evaluate the christian need.

Step forward "the designer" and creationism. In the face of the scientific onslaught Islam and Judaism have, in the main" stood by thier book and its rules. Right or wrong.

Only Christianity hypocriticaly re-writes the rules to suit itself. Why? because they cannot answer the questions posed.
Question Author
Yeah Dave, I'm pretty sure I posted a thread based on that fact before. They just keep re writing the rule book as each so called fact is scientifically refuted.
