Unfortunately, yes. There will always be racism. People hate/fear whatever or whoever is different from them. Race often provides a clear visual difference for people to fixate on. I have been a part of the minority and a part of the majority as I have lived in several countries. Racism is common to all countries.
I agree, and I am not and have never been racist to anyone, as I fell it i wrong. However the one big problem with racisn is that it has one massive loop hole: it interfears with free speech. People have campaigned for the right for free speech for hundreds of years and racism (however ridiculous it is) is a form of free speech.
Agreed - crying racism is a knee-jerk reaction by some people just to put others on a back foot, hopefully shutting them up. I believe free speech trumps all. Having spent several years previsously in US, it was shocking to see both blatant racism and people using the threat of the accusation of it to distract from other issues. People here in the UK generally speak more openly and honestly w/o all these euphemisms.
The only way racism can be abolished is by believing that God has created every single human being. No black is better than white or vice versa. And it should not be restricted only to black and white all the people in this world should be included in this example. People should be judged on the basis of their character. If we can not do this then of course racism would never be eliminated
I do agree with others that at present majority of the people use racism as an excuse to get sympathy and compensation as well perhaps.

Racism will always remain, just as sexism, ageism and now religionism will. There will always be individuals who will have suspicions about people who are different to themselves.
I got a BNP leaflet through my door a few days ago and although they are trying to restructure their image as being representative to the people of Britain, from their leaflet, I could see it was the same as ever. They just hate black people. They made no mention of organised crime, where the perpertrators are white, Eastern European.
I was also irritated to see a photo on the leaflet of a group of black children with hoods on. They were basically saying all gang members are black. This may be the case in places with a higher population of black people, but blacks are still a minority in this country and if you travel to predominantly white areas or Asian areas, then those gangs will be representative of the predominant race.
Things are obviously vastly better than when the first immigrants from the Caribbean came here in the 1950's, but we still have a long way to go. I personally think people are people, regardless of race or creed and we all have our good and bad points.

like it or not, the races are different,
racism is the ignorance of the evident facts,
although (to generalise) it would not be racist to state...
black people are faster and stronger for example, it is clear and quantifiable,
or that weaker white people are intelligent as of need, in order to survive,
lets face it there are balances here, otherwise there would only be one surviving race on earth,
