So I know you’ll probably respond with ‘just ask her’ etc, but I’ve never been in a relationship before and I just want other peoples perspective. So there’s a girl I recently met (not romantically but on an art course). First day we was drawing and we was talking and laughing and she knocked my hand jokingly when trying to draw steadily. Next time she dropped her pencil on the floor which went under the table and as she went to pick it up her head ended up resting on my knee whilst she picked up the pencil. These things have never happened to me before so it really did take me by surprise and I even thought it was a little strange. I just want the opinions of more experienced people in dating if those are signals she finds me physically attractive or if she may just a naturally outgoing confident person who does that to lots of people. Thanks

Probably but is impossible to be sure. Some girls like guys as friends they feel comfortable around but don't want romantic involvement. They run a mile if you make a move.

Do you find her attractive or are you just charmed because she is might be showing interest in you? How you feel is important.

Just be natural and don't sweat about it. You will end up casually touching her if you don't think about it. If you start planning things it can get strange and awkward.

If you don't give her a little attention back she will give up after a while. You have to be willing to take risks eventually or you will die lonely and wondering. I have regrets like that from my youth.

I eventually got with a woman who made it totally obvious but I would have been a lot better off it I had had some experience interacting with girls when I was at school.

Beso- yes I do like her. I was just thinking because she did something like placing her head on my knee and leaving it there for a couple of seconds when she went to pick up her pencil under the table. She also rubbed her arm against my forearm as she reached over to dip her paintbrush into the paint. I was just wondering if these are signs a girl likes a guy as the touches were unnecessary meaning that she kind of didn’t actually need to make that contact but she did anyway

Barsel- yeah I know I asked it again but under a different category as this one wasn’t getting any answers
I thought you were a school boy. There is a reason you are 23 and never had a girlfriend.

You are too self conscious and scared to take a risk.

Stop worrying and respond in some way before she decides you are not interested. What is the worst thing that can happen?

Beso- this is the first girl who has ever seemed to take a proper interest. All through school and college I felt invisible to them
Yes, she likes you but don’t read too much into what happened - it's as likely to be as a result of her feeling comfortable with you, which she clearly does, as fancying you. Be yourself, be friendly towards her and give it time.
Don't ask her if she fancies you. That is too weird. Be casual.

Ask her if she would like to do something not in the classroom. Nothing too special, sit together at lunch maybe. Then you can have a conversation and find out if you have any common interests.
Jack, how old are you?
ask her out for a coffee
//////ask her out for a coffee///

LOL..lol.
why lol sqad
Sorry malyh......just my sense of humour.

In modern parlance she is "gagging for it" and I don't mean for a cup of coffee.
/////Next time she dropped her pencil on the floor which went under the table and as she went to pick it up her head ended up resting on my knee whilst she picked up the pencil. ///.

Jack..were you naked atthe time, as it was an Art Class?
Ironic isn't it, in today's culture if you put your head on her lap it would count as "inappropriate touching". Such is the society the over-active feminists have built for us.

Good luck with the relationship, I think that naomi24's response is particularly apposite.
Ignore sqad, Jack. He keeps his brains in his pants.

Thank you, Canary.
^ probably budgie smugglers
Common naomi, surely you have posed naked in an Art Class.
^See what I mean, Jack? Sqad, I hate to say this but you really are a silly old sod at times.
LOL...naomi.
