nope, next question
In our dreams maybe, but mankind is territorial and aggressive and nature is unkind, so sadly - no.
No.
There are those who don't want that, those who know no better than to ensure it doesn't come about, and yet others who would deny it has happened even when it has.
No, never, unfortunately.
No. It's against nature and human nature.
Yes, without humans .
No.
KARL, //others who would deny it has happened even when it has. //

When did it happen?
No, wars and localised conflicts will increase due to many factors.
Hungry people will fight for access to food.
Heteronymous religion will recruit followers to increase power.
Sheer power grabs and the lucrative spoils that go with it.
Profit, as in the context of the military/industrial complex that thrives on war, as Eisenhower warned.
Many more reasons to add to this, but it will get much much worse.
Not while humans still inhabit the earth...the damage we do is horrendous and we simply don't learn any lessons
Naomi, does the word "supposition" exist in your lexicon ? ;)
The world is right on track to fulfil all of the bible prophecies of war, pestilences and destruction.
Theland - // The world is right on track to fulfil all of the bible prophecies of war, pestilences and destruction. //

I get the same relief from reading your posts as viewers do watching soap operas - no matter how miserable a time I am having, it will never be as miserable as the time you are having.

Your constantly tell everyone how happy your faith makes you, and then post virtually every say, messages that confirm the exact opposite.

If that is now your faith makes you happy, I am seriously glad I don't share it.
It is not possible as long as I have a hole in my bottom.
I have peace and I can't change facts or the future.
I choose not to live a lie and bury my head in the sand.
Theland - // I choose not to live a lie and bury my head in the sand. //

In much the same way as the definition of terrorism depends on whose rifle barrel you are staring down, the notion of 'living a lie' depends on what you think the truth is, and 'burying your head in the sand' depends on what you see when you lift it up for a look around.
Theland, you seem confident to predict that the world will go downhill, based on your observation of human behaviour. Do you credit your predictions to your observations or to what was written thousands of years ago? I suspect that thousands of years ago the prospects for humans' future was very pessimistic; I mean, they had all sorts of bad things going on, no democracy, no human rights, no animal rights..... No wonder that they had pessimistic views of the future, and then, as now, there's lots of people who prefer to look on the dark side and seek simplistic solutions such as taking the knee before a brutal male deity. If you give in to that sort of mentality you never do anything positive to make the world a better place. I think you'd be disappointed if the bible predictions didn't come true. Am I being too negative about your attitude? Do you live in hope at all?
I don't live in hope for mankind.
Too many self made problems.
Theland, at last you've got the consolation of knowing that God will se you alright. He's merciful and will look after you.
