I think you'd have to frame your question more succinctly than that if you want a serious debate - as it stands it is far too sweeping for anyone to comment meaningfully.

I know my friend won't mind seeing his name here, so I'll tell you about Paul Yerleg - he's a howler monkey that's been banned from every football stadium in the UK, despite being fanatically devoted to the sport. I've tried to turn his interest to jigsaws but all he wants is the thrill of a live match. Heigh-ho.
It seems one get get obsessed about just about anything.
I know of at least one person obsessed by starting threads they don't opt to participate in.
I'll come back later with an answer - can't leave off watching the snooker at the moment.

I try to catch most tournaments on tv. But obsessed, no.

...... I've often wondered why they constantly post questions and don't get involved. I'm also wondering if they even bother to read any of the replies ..... if they did, they'd realise that less and less people bother replying with serious replies now ;)
