If you consider yourself left wing, or Antifa, would you tell us why the left support immigration, are so vocal in support of Muslims, oppose Brexit, and shout " racist " at people who wish to protect our borders and our culture?
Addressing other issues I have not mentioned would be welcome.
This is a thread of genuine interest.

‘the Islamic world is economically backward’

Erm....The Middle East.
If you refer to Muslims and their religion, and don't specify some, or which some, then the default interpretation is inevitably all. So most critics state all by omission. It's probably an uncomfortable option to choose, to be tired of having the point needing to be made every time Muslims as a group are criticized.
The Middle East got lucky with oil resources, which is in the hands of the elite anyway.
I tend to swing to the right. But that’s probably my loose boxer shorts.
I don't think it's more common to encounter foreign cultures in this country. I would say that there are traces of them, but we haven't adopted anything to any great degree. What was the original use for curry and spices? Places in the Middle East and the sub-continent never had a cool climate, as in Europe, so found it difficult to preserve meat for any length of time. That's where curry comes in. It was originally a meat/food preserver, to stop it from going rancid. I never eat curry. It's one of the biggest causes of stomach upsets in this country. A foreign culture we have adapted?
Surely curry is a very good example! What was it Fat Les called his (great) football song?
Saying we’ve adopted no cultures suggests there is some sort of basic culture waiting to be despoiled by outside influences. Most countries like that today we might sneer at as backward or dare I say it ****holes. Bhutan is probably a good exception

One only has to meet moderate Muslims to know that just because a religion's ancient extreme views exist in it's books it doesn't follow that all followers of that religion take those extreme views seriously. One is in danger of demonising a whole group of folk simply because their religion hasn't gone through any official reformation/enlightenment whilst many of the people clearly have.

A little bit more about Fatmir.(one of the many Muslims we have employed)

Fatmir is a Muslim, one of these moderate Muslims ...

He doesn't pray, he eats pork, he drinks alcohol, he is even married to a Christian.

But ask him if he had ever considered leaving Islam and a different ...I would say a fearful Fatmir appears.
