Is it me, or has George Galloway been comparatively quiet recently? Judging by his political views he would be perfectly at home in Jeremy Corbyn's cabinet. Is he perhaps biding his time before another political comeback, rejoining his pals in the Labour party? Wouldn't he make a fine Foreign Secretary, alongside his comrades Marx and Spender?

Exactly garaman. A fine intelligence wasted. If Theland didn’t know Galloway was anti-Israel he can’t have been paying a lot of attention.
I pay lots of attention.
Speaking up for the Palestinians is not the same as being anti Israeli.
Galloway would feel more at home in the Conservative Party ,helping them collect donations from the Russians, eh .
As he is a very strong supporter of Corbyn (and hates Tom Watson) i thought you'd have agreed with a lot of Galloway's views gulliver
ichi; //He’s an appalling man.//
Well, he'd certainly be among his equals.
Shallow. Must do better. Detention,
Galloway has gone on record as calling Israel a ‘gangster state’ whose ‘days are numbered’. He also gives outspoken support to Hezbollah and Hamas. Both of those organisations’ Jews in Israel are well known. So it goes a bit further than just supporting the Palestinians.
‘Views on Israel’
Then I apologise. Must do better and re visit his history to educate myself.
A true ABer is never to proud to apologise.
It’s ok Theland. No need to apologise. I was just surprised you didn’t know.
Another loopy AB thread.

Galloway was expelled by Labour 15 years ago.
Gromit - So what? The Suffragettes were gaoled.
What's your point?
Theland,
My point is that the OP is fantasising about Galloway joining the Shadow Cabinet, when he isn’t even a Labour Party member nevermind an MP. In other words, it is complete bolux.
Question Author
Gromit, my point in the OP was that Galloway has a lot in common with Corbyn, and would be a natural bedfellow to Jeremy and John McDonnell (unlike most of the Labour party). If you remember, Galloway left Labour because he hated Blair. Now that times have changed and his fellow terrorist-sympathising mates are at the very top of the Labour party, isn't it time George was welcomed back into the fold?
Question Author
And, no it isn't bolux, Gromit- Corbyn's communist affiliates are calling for Galloway to be reincluded where he belongs, with the rest of the Labour nutters.

Even after Galloway left Labour, Jeremy couldn't congratulate him highly enough- mobile.twitter.com/jeremycorbyn/status/185542633056239616?lang=en

And the feeling is clearly mutual, Galloway is a big Corbyn fan: news/george-galloway-jeremy-corbyn-greatest-election-campaigner-labour-has-ever-had-17061315064

So, in reply, Gromit, 'bolux' to you!
well the way he toadies up to despots and terrorists he's ideal for the modern anti British labour party led by agent COB and the quartermaster. Gorgious Goerge must be licking his lips at the prospect of joining that lot.
Not impressed with his Anthony Eden stance towards Russia regarding the Salisbury attack.
"Peace in our time!"
So disappointing!
I think you'll find that 'Peace in our time' was Neville Chamberlain, not Anthony Eden.
The Jewish lobby, along with other factions, precludes any chance of him rejoining the Labour party.
