Snowball Fights

When I were a kid ,this snowy weather used to bring out loads of kids to have a snowball fight

Looking out the window , there's noone out there doing the aforementioned

How times have changed .
Does everybody now prefer to be tucked up warm inside in front of a computer ?

most likely the parents don;t want the little darlings to get wet, dripping their coats, boots all over the place..

I`ve just seen next door come in with his young daughter who was having a tantrum and grizzling her eyes out. It's snowing here and when I was her age I would have been beside myself with excitement.

From my back bedroom window I can see a hill, Baz......children are making snowmen......having snowball fights and tobogganing down the hill......been so long since we had enough snow to do that....
It's lovely to watch.....
And just as nice....the Redwings are in the garden.....bliss.....x

Most of my children have been out three times today but they can stay in now. Thing 1 is frozen to the bone.

Loads of snowmen round here, lots of happy children playing in the snow. Not only that, have just walked past a group of people barbecuing sausages in their garden...

When we went out for a walk this morning, there were loads of families out and about with children, sledges and dogs.

Someone had been about earlier as there was a huge snowman in the middle of one of the fields. It was actually a lovely walk and not as cold as I was expecting it to be.

There have been children playing here too - just glad the water hasn't frozen over yet as it terrifies me when they think it's strong enough to take their weight.

We've all made a snowman of about 8ft on the green opposite- must have been about 30 people out there. Schools are all shut tomorrow- I've only known ours shut once before in the last ten years.

Kids and adults have been out playing in the snow today - clearing it, building snowman and snowball fights. Little one towed on a sledge. Handy living in a cul de sac

Prudie, it does look lovely and the kids are having a great time, but my car is still stuck at someone else's house... if it's any consolation...
