I've been out this morning, and it was certainly cold. Cold enough for gloves, anyway, but I hadn't taken mine with me, so I was pleased to get back indoors.

Gosh that's cold. It's not even freezing here, but I've two pairs of socks on and my feet feel like ice.

The coldest I've ever been was in New York about 20 years ago. Even colder than when I've been in Sweden or Norway.
It was a different kind of cold to anywhere else. It seemed to creep under every layer of clothing.

Went skiing years ago in Austria and that was freezing. I think it was before the days of central heating. All we had was coal/log burners.
Took me ages to thaw out!!!!

You will need to be wrapped up on Sunday Baldric, it looks as if our cold weather is heading South. It has been proper cold out today. North wind a blowing and wind chill soon takes hold.
