What's n.w.o?
This offended me 'Muslim Protester Calls BBC's Stacey Dooley a Naked Seductress' look up the video at what is happening.
New World Order?
15 years ago was just before the new millennium and hopes were high that it would, by itself, bring in a new order, H.H.The Dalai Lama said; Many people seem to be excited about the new millennium, but the new millennium in itself will be nothing special. As we enter into the new millennium things will be the same; there will be nothing unusual. However, if we really want the next millennium to be happier, more peaceful and more harmonious for humankind we will have to make the effort to make it so, this is in our hands.
Sadly, not only did things not remain the same, but have worsened with widespread violence throughout the Middle East and spilling out elsewhere. Unless man makes the effort to change his mind and outlook on his fellow man, and attempts to eschew religious, nationalistic and tribal, divisions, we all seem to be on a course of self-destruction.
One chink of light over the last 15 years though, has been the removal of much of the racial discrimination that was inherent in earlier generations. Perhaps this is a start ?
I think the above video is the one to which tamaris is referring, The 'naked seductress' bit is near the beginning.

Black & white non muslims are all in danger of fundamentalists. Reducing development of muslim schools and mosques would deter further spread of muslim hatred of us.
Thank you jomifl that is it x
Sharia courts in the UK don't concern me at all. The Beth Din Courts have been used for many years in the UK without affecting me or mine, nor does it have any influence or jurisdiction over UK laws. If Muslims want to settle certain matters using Sharia courts that is up to them - they won't be chopping hands off or beheading anybody, and Muslims will still be up before the criminal justice system of the UK if they break the law.

What do you see is happening to the UK that will affect you to your detriment?
//Sharia courts in the UK don't concern me at all........... If Muslims want to settle certain matters using Sharia courts that is up to them //

if muslims decide they want to settle matters such as serious assaults, rape, armed robbery etc between themselves in their sharia courts, it won't much affect you, or me, or most of the population. but it will mean one rule of law for some, and another rule for the rest. who's to say that community elders, imams, mosques, etc wouldn't pressure muslim crime victims to lay their issues before a sharia court in preference to the uk judiciary? but because that doesn't affect the majority, does that make it OK?
America has a thing about Syria due to it's historical links with Russia and its hardline stance on Israel

I'm not surprised you don't understand - it's very complex

//every one knows the rebels are islamic terrorists//

Er no they are a loose coalition of all sorts of groups from liberals to jihadists

It sounds as if this 'everyone' is looking for a simple black and white 'good guy /bad guy' interpretation of the middle East

You first have to understand that is nonsense and there are no good guys and bad guys in that particular scenario.

As for in the UK the Newspapers and TV programs love to pick out the few hot heads and make programs about them

There are millions of muslims in the UK and the radicals are maybe a couple of hundred at most

I work with several and I'm pretty sure none of them are trying to overthrow the state!
mushroom25, just as the Jewish courts now operate in the UK, Sharia courts will not have any jurisdiction over criminal offences, so rape, assault, armed robberies which will still be dealt with the UK criminal court system.
BTW you may agree with UKIP but I don't think they'd agree with your own immigration problems!

Your son would certainly find it harder to come to the UK if they had their way - they are not just anti-muslim they are anti anybody being here who wasn't born here

I was in fact caught up on a bus for over an hour and a half as the EDL march was going on, i didn't know the exact route and got caught on the way back, the police were out in massive force and had blocked up many streets,
From Roman road right down past Liverpool street and beyond was total gridlock. I have no idea if anything kicked off, i sincerely hope not, but you have to see these areas to wonder quite what country you are living in. Subjective or not, that is how i see it, and whilst i despise the likes of the EDL, i also don't care for what i see as the spread of peoples who seem to have little or no connection with the capital nor indeed i would say Britain.

hc, you know sharia courts already exist, they shouldn't, nor should Jewish courts, how can you have these separate systems, no matter whether they are used for marital or business disputes, it should not be the case.
We should be living under the same judicial system, that would be the safest method, after all if a woman is married under Sharia Law she has to go the sharia court for her divorce, which means she may well not get
fairly treated in respect of her marital rights.
Emmie,
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2414014/2-000-female-genital-mutilation-victims-seek-help-London-hospitals-just-3-years.html

DPP Keir Starmer says "'I think a prosecution is much closer now than it's been at any stage since this was made a criminal offence in this country. We have devised a strategy, and we have now got the intelligence-led operations that are bringing us very close to a prosecution."

which is, of couse, political weasel-speak for "we dare not do anything about this because we'll be branded racist".
It is worth noting that it is only muslims who behave like this, they make the EDL look like saints (well almost).
Worse even than the Sharia or Jewish courts operating in the UK are the 'restorative justice' ones that hold sway in parts of Belfast. Community Workers(code for paramilitary representatives) sit and mete out their version of justice to petty criminals and vandals in the areas their group controls.
mushroom, the problem is if the parents take the child out of the country, no way to check,
jom, not sure i agree, EDL are idiots, they fan the flames of discord, however i don't see the Islamic community doing much to help themselves. some seem to think why should they if the majority are peaceful, mind your own business types, perhaps that is right, but they have some hotheads in their midst which they do not deal with, and they are the ones who put bombs on our streets, in the name of something none of us know anything about. The problems will escalate, the likes of the EDL will go on marching and the UAF will try and counter them, both as bad as the other, meanwhile the capital shuts down again. I have honestly never seen so many police, and police vehicles in my life, were they expecting a riot?
