Hi,further to previous question I've come to the conclusion that I'm depressed following everything that has recently happned to me. I'm the best person in the world when there is some stuff going on around me, or when I'm going out with my friends. When I've nothing on, I just get so weepy and pathetic. I feel like I'm living on my nerves as well the whole time as well as losing sleep. Any suggestions?

Make an appointment to see your GP. A short course of medication may well see you through this difficult time, but leaving it and doing nothing is only going to exacerbate the problem.
Sarah - I can only second what Andy has said. Having been through the same as you professional help is what's required. Make sure your GP gets you to go to a good counsellor, who will help you through this. It's not something that'll go away by itself. Good Luck & let us know what happens.
Try taking 5-HTP, a herbal anti depressant. From personal knowledge, it shows effects within 2 weeks and really makes a change. It also has none of the bad side effects of traditional anti-depressants. Available from holland and barratt
..and just remember: you're not alone. There are loads of people out there going through the same thing. Don't worry and get help. It's nothing to be ashamed of and you'll only wonder why you didn't do it sooner!
