An application at work convert data [mostly name & addresses] into a word document in table format. There is no choice in this matter. I now have 150 word files that I want to convert into one excel...

Have an Elu 12v drill, about 8 years old. The batteries are not holding their charge for very long [about ? an hour]. Are they worn out or is there any other way round it?

Now Yahoo has a "are you 18 policy" anyone else had this prob, you click to sign in, then click the "I accept" and the page goes bacl to you need to be 18+ Only happens on home PC any ideas?

13 amp plugs

On some electrical kit you but they have a conventional [ie with a screw, not moulded on] plug. The wires inside sometimes are covered by a small bit of metal that is crimped on, so no stray wires...

What about removing the question closed option for a while? When we then get a tuck your bran flakes into your cowboy boots, we can bombard them with stupid answers and clog their email addresses....

Our Tv has one scart socket on the back. New digital converter, video & DVD all too have sockets. Is there a 3 into one lead available? or would they all conflict with each other?

I'm looking for a catch [the sort that you'd use to hold up a hinged section of worktop] that'd be suitable for exterior use - to hold a garden gate open. Does anyone sell such a thing?

re-inforcing mesh

Am considering using some re-inf mesh [as used in concrete] for a trellis, any ideas on fixings on a brick wall, so that it stands proud from the surface? All I could think of was galvanised hooks
