If you bought a lucky dip lottery ticket to put it in someone's birthday card and then they won the jackpot, how would you feel?

you know they have a chance of winning so, my daughter buys them for me and her dad and grand parents if she cant think of that somthing extra i,am allways pleasded when i reecive mine

I have actually done that...they didnt win the jackpot but they got �120.

My nieces and nephews each bought me a lottery ticket for my recent birthday. Had I won the jackpot from any of them I would have happily given them their �1 back.

I'd be gutted, and even more so if they didnt offer me a bit, thats bad isnt it. I'll think I'll go with octavioooooos and not buy them anymore :-)

What is the point in buying someone a lottery ticket if you would hate for them to win?

I would be made up for them ~ and wouldn't expect a penny.
