So far this year ... A dressing gown, supply of cleaning materials and a Book. Sadly I have never won anything bigger but who knows what will come in the next post!!!
Yes, I used to enter competitions and was quite successful (don't ask why I stopped, it's a long story, though I do intend to start again).

In my first month I won a motorbike and a dishwasher (which served us for almost ten years before packing in). I also won a pocket TV, a Hi-Fi system, a ghetto-blaster, a victorian dolls house and a holiday not to mention numerous smaller prizes.

Oh, and 42 on the lottery!!!

According to Tom Champagne, I've won a prize in the Readers Digest prize draw.
47, 52, 57 and quite a few tenners on the lottery, a holiday to the Costa Del Sol (including a visit to the set of Eldorado), a holiday to Lanzarote, two mountain bikes, a hi-fi system, a GameBoy Colour with games, toys, videos, cleaning equipment, make-up, toiletries, stationery, exhibition tickets, cookware, and a radio. I'm now entering every 'Win a Dishwasher/Carpets' competition I come across! Also, (this wasn't a prize, as such, but I bought an egg and cress sandwich last week, which contained a lovely bit of egg shell and received 50 in compensation!!)
When I had just turned 18 I was at a party which had a "bottle raffle", eg vodka, whisky, gin, etc, etc. I was fortunate enough to win a bottle of brown sauce and was the but of my friends and family's jokes for weeks after.
a pair of Levi's, several CDs, videos and a fleece
I couldn't win an argument in an empty house. The trouble is I do the same numbers every week on the lottery and I can't stop in case they come up (yes I know it's statistically unlikely to say the least and it it must make me unusual in that I'm doing the lottery for a pessimistic reason!).
50p in a fancy dress competion when I was six. i used to be deda proud of that until my Dad admitted he bribed the judges!
Nicola Jane will you marry me?

We got 5 numbers in the company syndicate (came to about 200 quid each)
A weekend wingwalking in the midlands, a signed copy of I'm sticking to you by the Velvet Underground, a block of Burdalls gravy salts, some reverse number look up software and a copy of how to irritate people and lose friends on the internet... quite a collection really ;-)
A couple of tenners on the Lottery, 50 on a scratch card and, when I was small, I entered a competition to design a house, and won a tin of poster paints. Also, I collected enough winning Cadbury wrappers and won a Coronation Street Rovers Return pint beer mug and a Coronation Street T-shirt! At secondary school, our Art Class had to paint/draw scenes from the song 'The House That Jack Built', which were sent into the BBC, and appeared on Noel Edmond's Swap Shop!
Last year I won a quiz show on TV- 1500, I've won CD's books, Beer, clothes, 50% off a fitted kitchen, a year's supply of bread, 25 worth of beef, cinema tickets etc etc. Once I won 5 on one scratchcard and on the next one attached 10! I got four numbers in the lottery but only got a measly 33. As you may have guessed I enter a lot of comps etc!
So, Moog, was that a special AB comp for regular questions?!
About 2 months ago a large box arrived for me and although I don't even remember what competition it was, I had won a playstation2, a Blade PS2 game and a Blade and Blade II dvd. It was a wonderful suprise.
I won second prize in a beauty contest once...and collected 10 from each player
Biggest thing I ever won was my wife's heart back in 1991

I was going to say 'what did you lose it in a game of cards?' but two wrongs don't make a right - right?
