You wouldn’t have liked Motörhead then emms, my ears rung for days.. I seen Nazareth in Perth, that was loud as well , actually uncomfortably loud.

I saw the Big yin at Newcastle Theatre Royal ( he’s not that big)
foregetting that i had to go outside into the corridor of the Royal Albert Hall when they had the 1812 Overture by Tschaikovsky, the guns went off and it frightened the hell out of me.
steg, not my thing at all.

There’s one place I’d love to go to, to be at the festival of poppies near or on Nov 11th
I also, very reluctantly, saw Sweet on one of our monthly trips to the Musik Halle in Hamburg. However, once they had gone through their 'cheesy pop' hits to satisfy the 'teeny-boppers' in the crowd, the remainder of their set was quite heavy rock and i found them surprisingly good.
I Have been to the Cenotaph several times, its ok, but you have to get there very early if you don't want to be stuck at the back, as you can't see anything at all. I am not tall so didn;t get to see much as i would have liked. I wanted to join the RBL, one of the reasons so i could perhaps go to the Remembrance concert at The Royal Albert Hall.
Saw Rodders at York racecourse a couple of years ago. Fantastic concert. He was on top form.
Ken, yes Sweet we’re a fine heavy rock band really. The Desolation Boulevard album stands up to many of their contemporaries, a la Deep Purple / Sabbath etc.

Hi Zac, we were offered free tickets to see him at Gateshead Stadium but as I said , it chucked it down that day, best concert for me were the Stones at St James’s Park
Anthony Newley, it was the last concert he did but it was in London and not easy for me to sort hotel etc back then. I once took my daughter to a Boyzone concert, I couldn't hear a thing for a couple of days afterwards. I've seen Andre Rieu several times here and in Maastricht. I haven't been to any of the big groups but have seen Cliff many times, Josh Groban, David Essex.
Would have loved to see Roy Orbison.
To turn the question backwards the group I always wanted to see and was thoroughly disappointed with when I did was the Shadows. I have a big collection of their music from Apache onwards but their stage act was so lacklustre it was untrue.
I would say i am quite fortunate in that i've seen all the bands and musicians i've wanted to see,eg, sabbath, stones, zep, lizzy plus many more. As opposed to bands i wished i'd seen, i have 1 or 2 i regret seeing, eg susana vega, def lepard and judas priest.

Oh Arrids, me too

I turned down the chance to see Led Zepp at Earls Court. I did however see Mott the Hoople, supported by an up-and-coming band, Queen. I went to see the Stones in the late 70s, assuming they would retire soon! I missed the Sex Pistols (as the Spots) but did see the Jam, the Clash, X-Ray Spex, Elvis Costello, and many more.
I've seen The Beatles, The Searchers, The Hollies, Tina Turner, Marti Pelow (Wet, Wet, Wet) and Tony Christie (loads of times) !

Would love to see James McArthur, Rag & Bone Man and Sam Smith, but won't, so will make do with seeing them on TV.
