when a man is tired of London, he is tired of life.I heard that a peele or something like that said that not Samuel Johnson like it states.

According to Oxford Dictionary of Quotations, Samuel Johnson wrote this in the Life of Boswell, Vol. 3 page 178. 19th September 1777.

Boswell wrote the biography of Johnson, in which he quoted Johnson saying this. Can't find any evidence that anyone else said it earlier.

I can categorically state that the quote is from Samuel Johnson, quoted by James Boswell, in his famous biography of Johnson.
