Praia da Rocha, Portugal and Perth WA.
Isn't a great holiday more about who you're with?
Turks & Caicos Islands, 2003.
I have a few fave places: California, Jamaica, Italy, New York, Dubai, Florida,Marbella, Monte Carlo and Colorado. I couldn't choose between them! It depends on what you want to do, who you are going with and how much you want to spend etc.
It depends on what you like really. I spent a couple of weeks on a tiny Greek island this summer, and it was the best holiday ever. Prices are cheap because of the Greek economy, but the 'austerity' mentality hasn't filtered down to the islands yet. And probably won't for another year or so. That's what the locals say, anyway.
Best answer JJ. I've been lucky enough to have had some fairly exotic holidays but if I had to repeat one of my holidays it would be Southern Ireland for that very reason....and of course Ireland is tough to beat. :-)
Ecuador. Spent time travelling the country, time in the rain forest and time visiting the Galapagos. Perfect and 8 weeks. But, as with my next best; spending 7 weeks going the length of California; it's only practical if you can take all that time off work. If you're self-employed and paid by the job, you can.
normandy and las vegas
Tough call between Malta and Menorca
It depends upon your requirements really. We go to places that the kids will love (went to a brilliant child-centred place in Ibiza this year) but it would have driven me to murder pre-children.

Oi!

That is not Bournemouth ...
No but close tt.
Slovenia, beautiful scenery. Closer to home, the Lake District.
Loved Borneo, beach and the forest and especially the orang-utans. Bali was a disappointment, too much hassle all the time which spoilt it.
I love The Norfok Broads
And we broads in Norfolk love New Zealand.
Hawaii
Route 66
Las vegas.
California.
The Masai Mara in Kenya
Adult lone holiday, Nile Cruise.
With children, Churchwood, Wembury.
With children abroad, Minorca.
