Best website for charity gifts?

I want to buy my girlfriend a charity gift this xmas. Does anyone have any ideas or websites they have used before and can recommend?

I use the save the children one but perhaps there is something that holds importance to your girlfriend. Cancer charity/homeless charity. I know McMillan cancer do gift so perhaps even just googling.

you could also try www.goodgifts.org

they do those kind of gifts where you can buy medicines for a village, or a flock of chickens for a poor family, or a clean water pump, with prices ranging from a tenner to thousands if you wanted to buy your own acre of rainforest and have it named after your loved one (or yourself!)
