bought an item from freemans using my card. got receipt saying it would be delivered in 47 days. three weeks later they called to say they couldn't deliver till March 08. too late for christmas. can i complain or anything. it's now impossible to get this item anywhere else.

Yes you can complain, and ask for your money back, tell them that the item was for Christmas and that now you will have to find something else, also tell them how disappointed you are and how disappointed the person you were buying it for will be, even if it's for you!
