I was online yesterday morning and happened to see a Co-op special deal, which they often do. It was 5 items for £6, saving £9.05. They should be over £15 separately. So I decided to order, as I needed a couple of other bits anyway, and booked a home delivery spot for the afternoon. Well, the delivery arrived, along with an email saying ‘ we are so sorry but this item was unavailable’. So one item out of the deal was missing. So they have charged me the FULL price for each item! Even though it wasn’t my fault that this one item was unavailable! Which they have now charged me £13 for!!

Ring them.
I once got an email from the co op with a similar deal in it.
I went to the shop, bought the deal along with a few other items, and didn’t realise till I got home that it was an online only deal, not applicable if you went in the shop. Ended up paying full price for all the ‘deal’ items.
I now ignore all their emails.

Ive emailed them as I thought better have it in writing, but am so annoyed.
You should have refused to accept the other items in the offer, so blerdy annoying. Hope co-op does the right thing
There are two co-ops near me, both identical in every way.
Offers through the door or online only apply to one or the other, never both. It's frustrating

I didn’t get the email until the delivery had arrived. Grrrrrr
I'd be furious, too

Thanks Barry, not just me over-reacting x
