Hi

I need a style, im a size 18 but 5ft 11 tall so dont look as big (as some days i feel).

I perfer flat boots and shoes, but im struggling to but clothes together.

If i had my own way i would wear trainers and jean all the time, but i do want to change my style and love all the boho style thats about, but the good shops seem to stop at size 14-16

So i guess im asking for websites that do good clothing or shops (i live in Leeds). Or just a bit of help will do thanks

Evans and Etam.
hennes has a good range of clothes in larger sizes, and I found that Tophop maternity has some nice tops too. not sure if they have that in Leeds though!
If you're after a something special, Monsoon sell up to a 22 but it's not cheap .Also Dorothy Perkins seem to have some nice things at the moment, sizes are quite generous too. Also try catalogues like Simply Be. Don't be afraid to try Evans, I know it's traditionally a 'big girls' shop, but some of the stuff is quite trendy and often cut quite well for those of us with curves. If none of these are any good, browse ebay, type in 'boho' and see what they've got in your size...we all love a bargain!

You could try Primark - I'm always in there! Most of their clothes go up to a size 18, sometimes 20, and they always seem to come up a bit large anyway. Perhaps try a few different styles to see what works for you from there, but if they don't look right, it's not going to be an expensive mistake, cos things are always so cheap in there!

tesco have some really nice clothes. They have a section for plus sizes aswell. Also George at Asda have some nice clothes and i have seen them go up to size 20.

Thanks for all your answers, Retail therapy here i come!!!

The only thing i struglle with is putting things together, if anyone has ideas of how i do this (hope i dont sound too sad) please say.

Thanks

Good luck with your shopping! Much as I hate them, those What Not to Wear girls aren't too bad. They've got a bit on the BBC Website that gives you some tips. I'm quite curvy and 5'8 and have found that hipsters divide up your hips which is good, pockets on the bum also, and deep v-necks divide up your chest area so you don't look like you've got a couple of airbags on. By your size, sounds like you can take quite bold things, contrasting colours, but bear in mind the old rules of verticals or diagonals for slimming rather than horizontals which widen. Bias cut skirts skim the figure rather than the big boho skirts which can widen you. A good pair of knee-length boots to go with everything too. A long scarf looks boho and again divides you up a bit.

I want to go shopping now!
