I've used Powerpoint for years but I'm stuck. As always, burning the midnight oil to finish a presentation and everything is becoming a problem!!!

Anyway, basically when I format the font style for the presentation as Century Gothic it's fine until I save it. When I re-open the presentation it's reverted back to Ariel. I've tried formating the Master Slide and saving as another name. Also tried changing auto options, auto correct etc all to no use.

It remembers Italics, shadow etc but not font. It doesn't happen on ALL the text boxes, only some of them.

HELP, HELP, HELP need to fix tonight.

Thanks

Do you really have to use Century Gothic? There must be similar fonts (even Arial isn't too different). Maybe the font is corrupt. Tried it in my version and it saved ok.

Only thing I can find (before Googling) is in Tools/Options then Embed True Type fonts - try that?

Looked under Help and 'default font'. There is quite a lot of help there (too long for Answerbank) but the last bit was this:-

If you want to replace every instance of one font with a different font throughout an entire presentation: On the Format menu, click Replace Fonts. In the Replace box, select the font that you want to replace. In the With box, select the font that you want to use as the replacement, and then click Replace.
