Its so windy, I may get lifted up and carried along. According to weather forecast, 25 mph gusting to 40+...all day. All I can hear is rattling.
This is feeling more like October. How is it where you are?

Rain earlier, seems to be ceasing now. Might try a walk later when my legs wake up.
It is dry with just a slight wind, but the sky looks full of rain.
Breezy more than windy, been raining too , I'd call it 'squawly ' showers
Pasta, very windy indeed! I have just put the washing on and am debating whether to hang it outside.
I can see my neighbour's tall shrubs bending in half!!
Go on - venture out

I'm sure it's not like the Cape of good hope , there
//Breezy more than windy,//

What's the difference ?
I have to go out, I've got my dog to walk and she couldn't care less about the weather, just wants to be out and about, bless her. Might have to dig out the old winter jacket !
Windy and as cold as...
Not sure I want to leave my house tomorrow.
But I will, because I'm a glutton for punishment.
On the south Cornish coast.....extremely windy...hard to walk against the wind but I did and feel as if I have done a bit of a work out rather than my usual 4 mile walk!
25 - 40mph is nothing Pasta LOL. It was a 100 mph blast that blew the roof off my cottages in the NY Dales.
Something has just now made a loud crashing noise in my back garden. Better investigate. What was I saying about this wind being nothing;-))
Breezy and sunny, but I think it's getting win died.

I think I have to adopt the attitude...what if I still had a dog?...and just get out there ;)
Windier!
Yep, dogs enjoy windy weather. Well, Tilly does.
Same here, also my trees are turning and the spiders are moving in. I think we are going to have an early autumn
Awful here but I feel the need to go out. I've set myself a target of walking 250 miles in August. I'm on track but one day without walking at this late stage will make it more difficult. I prefer to wear shorts when I walk in this weather may look odd but i don't care any more..
Same as you, pasta. Winds might get closer to 50mph this afternoon and I'm supposed to be cycling to work for 3:00 p.m. Thinking that the bus is the better option...

Stay safe everyone.
Well it is like cape horn up here in Teesdale. I've got to brave the elements now to get my Sainsbury's click and collect -its a 15 mile round trip on country lanes - my main concern is tree branches on the road :-(

Well my walk lasted all of 30 minutes. No matter which way I faced, I was against the wind. Didn't get whacked by any tree branches.
At least it's not raining. I'll go out again later...I miss my walks if I don't do them.
Wet as well as windy, nothing to go out for, but normally would find an excuse, I love extreme weather
