Why do some British men insist on walking around in the hot weather with no shirt? It looks disgusting and slovenly. You don't see men in hot mediterranean countries doing it, they most likely wear a nice cool white shirt which looks far more classy than a tattoo covered slob. It's true that the British male has no sense of style in the hot weather.

errrrr, yes it's terrible, I have to check each and every one out that I spot to really get a sense of how bad they look..........

It's the women parading around in just a bra (not JUST a bra) that bugs me. They look so un-cool whilst trying to keep cool.

In the Med, tourists generally go around "bare chested" and women go into the supermarkets in bathing costumes much to the disgust of the locals.

Just this morning, a British Tourist was asked to put on a shirt or be served outside as he entered the village restaurant in just shorts.

If they have nice bodies it isn't too bad :)
They should put the shirts on when going into a shop or pub though.

Lol-went out shopping yesterday, in the supermarket was a chap late 40s-early 50s, very, very short nylon shorts, white socks and trainers and no top, big belly hanging over the waistband of his shorts. Funny thing was that the store had brilliant air-con and you could tell he was actually feeling cold.

For once, and only once :) I agree with you Dave. I wish theses blokes would look in the mirror before taking their tops off..... maybe they do but just see something completely different to what the rest of us see.

Our local has banned men from going topless and another has banned vests as well.
