I live in Wales for Christ sake, I didn't move to Wales to soak up the sun, who does?!!

I got loads of work to do in the garden and I keep having to come in for a cool down.

Bring me dull and overcast!

Oh come on, Ratter.....I had you down as being a bit more inventive! Take off your clothes and train those hounds to follow you around waving their tails about.... :-)

Oh stop moaning, the sun won't be around forever. :-)
Ratter...irs ruddy steaming here in Swansea. I have a morning of paperwork to do before I go out to work after lunch, and I have now turned my portable AC unit on.

There is a whining noise, mostly coming from my lecky meter going around like a banshee, but its nice and cool here in my study !

We took the hounds into Hereford yesterday and even they found it too hot and we had to come home early.

And the garden needs some rain!!!!

Gness. "Take off your clothes and train those hounds to follow you around waving their tails about.... :-)"

Are you trying to get me arrested?

So you think me being naked in my garden with three hounds following me with their tails raised would be seen as "normal"

I know this Wales, but they are not sheep!

I also live almost opposite a primary school!!

I may skip that suggestion Gness but thanks for trying ;-)

you could always garden in the nude!
Question Author
dollie65, I would have no problem with that at all, apart from a few prickles and I also live almost opposite a primary school!!

You lot are trying to get me arrested!!
Wuss :-)
Thanks, Ratter........and I await the headlines in your local paper!

Roll on winter!!
It can be inconvenient what with the sweat streaming down the forehead into the eyes, but I'm more fed up with the days of cold in between. I'll tolerate the excess heat as it is all too rare.
I agree with you, Ratter. I love hot weather on holiday, but at home and work it's tiresome and uncomfortable. I know we shouldn't moan, but I much prefer cool and cloudy. Also, I have trouble deciding what to wear. I still have pale, pasty legs and don't feel ready to get them out in a dress, but it's too hot for my trusty jeans and black trousers.

OG. the cold is great for working in the garden, you work harder to keep war. My ex boss used to call it boss's weather.
what a load of British miserables....even though I am very fair, you can crank it up another 5 to 7C - what matters is the humidity level, that's what to moan about when it goes up.....
Ratter do your garden in the winter then!! Don't spoil it for the rest of us!

Let those weeds run riot!!!
Where do you go on holiday, the North Pole?
Not a fan of very hot weather, especially when it's muggy. Autumn is my favourite season of all.
