Haha, you tell it how it should be whiffey. Christmas doesn't matter to anyone anymore. Come on who actually worships god and believes in Jesus? Christmas is just one big commercial factor. It's the best time of year to make a quick quid.
I do - just my own belief of course.
opening pressies with the family
nice dinner
fun and friends
this year will be 6am - woken by 3 month old for a feed, so will take her downstairs and listen quietly to carols while she feeds, maybe go back to bed for a while
7am- when i get too excited i will wake up mr boob and mr mini boob and have brekkie, weetabix for me, bacon sarnie for mr boobs if he is lucky.
we will open our presents next to the tree
then mini mr boob and mini miss boob will get there smart christmas clothes on and we will all go to my mums for more pressies and a full christmas lunch, no alcohol for me as i dont want a drunk 3 month old!
7pm - home for kids bedtime, me and mr boob will watch bad telly, fiddle with our pressies, and eat pants!
No bedroom activities, last year we conceieved on christmas day - hence the 3 month old!
i dont believe a word of that whiffster!!

after reading your posts in food and drink and also reading about your saucepan last week i think you have more class than what you have really posted here, so come on!! what will you really be oing on christmas day?
ho ho ho .
swap the Bud for Stella and it sounds perfect
Up about 8am. Get chilled champagne, Guinness and fresh orange from fridge. Pour Buck's fizz and black velvets. Open pressies. Cook full Scottish breakfast whilst finishing off booze. Quick snooze then start cooking the full works and start on more booze. Eat everyrhing and a lot more booze. Fall asleep. Wake up and start drinking again Watch TV/play games and keep driniking. Make lots of turkey sandwiches, eat and keep drinking until crawling off to bed.

More details/recipes on request.
First "single" Christmas in 4 years, so certainly different! :S
Probably going home to my parents, for my mum's BRILL dinner, and lots of hugs and present swapping. A quiet affair most likely, usually is. I still love that time of year though.
Bless us, everyone! Lisa :)
Christmas is too quiet! To much ritual and thinking involved! It is boxing day in my family where we all get together for the whole day and party! Usually starts at about 9 AM and we go until at least 8PM. Oh I can't wait; I am away at school and looking forward to it is really helping me get through the exams! Last year we had over 30 people in the house and we all ate and drank all day until we were in such a state that we had to go to bed! Worst food hangover ever (couldn't have been from the champagne or the polar bears!)
I can't wait for the late night Christmas movie marathons that my sister and I always have too!
