No not all Kate. I loved guising when I was a child in Edinburgh but it's all changed into a vile gang culture thing now. Gimme money or else !!
Not round where we are - we had over a dozen callers last year.

They will be out of luck this year though - the present Mrs Hughes has gone abroad for work today, eldest daughters and children have all gone away for the weekend, so just penultimate grandson and me out trick and treating, so anyone ringing our bell will get no reply.
there are loads of houses around here dressed up .my grandchildren say they are to old now 16 and 10 lol.i normally dress as a witch but can't be bothered this year .

Stop picking on me or I'll set Wharton on you ;-)
I wish it would die out because it has changed over the past few years. No longer do you see small children enjoying themselves, only gangs of youths, travelling in cars, asking for and accepting only money.
I think the Scots are to blame for it Zacs
I blame the Scotch too...
Lots of small children having fun here....and no nuisances......☻

LOL at Baldric @14.56. Little kids enjoy going round. Some of the parents dress up and go round with them where I live.
