Larry Lamb turned on the Xmas lights in Croydon last Thursday. I didn't see him but I heard about it.

Er, who? Apparently she's Patron of the John Peel Centre for the Creative Arts. Leslie Dolphin (a BBC Radio Suffolk presenter) will be turning on the lights at the parish church.

Not exactly 'major celebs' are they? (Ian Lavender and Delia Smith both live nearby but I assume that they were both too expensive!).

We had Dion Dublin(footballer) for the Council lights, Ronan Parkes (Britain's got talent) & Hayley Tamaddon (Norwich Panto & Dancing on Ice) for The Mall and Fifi and Bumble for the Shopping Centre.

In Middlesbrough, it was a little girl who had battled Meningitis, Clare King (From emmerdale) and two presenters from local radio station TFM (Wayne Allen & Amy McConnell.....).
