really? I thought they could maybe trip over a leaf or something...
Have you got ants that big in your garden?
They stumble sometimes, roll over and carry on.
Try laying one on its back. lol
Yes, they can fall over. Sometimes the trail can be hazardous, but they quickly flip themselves back up.

I once had a pet centipede that went 99-plonk everytime it walked. It had one wooden leg.
Do ants really live in pants?
There is no such thing as a clumsy or slow ant. If you look closely at one then their legs are facing in all directions for maximum stability. If one were the size of a horse it could run faster than a Sports Car.

They can get squashed when they appear on the bar at work...!.. 'can' = 'will'..
I do not like the thought of you killing ants; I would class that as ant-isocial behaviour!
If I saw an ant tripping over a leaf, I would move house.
you can get ant-iseptic for scuffed ant knees.
Squarebear I've seen that happen. It was a dried leaf though, and the ant was one of those big black ones.
