When you buy a tin of tuna in brine, what is it? Is it bad for you or good?

Brine is salt water. I'd drain a tin of tuna before eating, but it's not really bad for you. (In small doses, of course.)

its healthier in brine than in oil i think as it is less fattening :)
You can buy tuna in Spring water (best) and olive oil (next best). Brine and oil tends to be cheaper, and hence, not as good for you.
