Because of dental phobia, I had my last extraction in hospital.

Needle in the back of my hand - oblivion.

What felt like seconds later, awake, tooth gone. Wonderful.

Yes, smell or rubber, rush of gas, head spinning, feel like I'm falling, strange dreams, wake up with a mouth full of blood and feeling sick and headachey.
