Which three letters connect an area around Dewsbury and something that went from a day of the week to Toast. All I can come up with is HDW for Heavy Duty Woollens - if it is correct - why??

It's HWD for Heavy Woolen District the Dewsbury part.
HWD Components was the fictional factory where Dinnerladies was set whose first episode was called Monday and the last was Toast.
