Our internet has been off all day (and the telly and the phone) ...we've been dealing with a nice gentleman from Bombay or somewhere who has been struggling to get us re-connected since this afternoon.

When I was in the village this week everyone seemed to be talking about your 3 nieces. Lady Roberta, Lady Felicity, & Lady Grace.
evidently they are staying with you for a while, is that right?
It must be nice to have their company, & they must bring joy to your household.
Staff have mentioned however that screams and jolly laughter have been heard in staff corridoors, odd stockings and shoes also have been found in rooms + hair ribbons and combs.
The Gamekeeper also found an itam of underclothing in the woods. I'm afraid though in the village their names are not being talked of favourably and some new wives are reluctant to let their spouses go to the local Inns.
Although (I presume) their visit is supposed to be a private affair most of the wives and girlfiends do know about it.

I just wanted to warn you what was being said in the community.
