is that I told my brother and dad that I thought my landlady who I live in the same house with was on the game. I'm not normally a gossipy person but I told my dad and brother this because I believed she was at one point - it was a bit of a gossipy thing to do and I feel a bit bad. I feel worried that this will get back to my landlady one day and I will lose my room here and her friendship. It's stupid I'm sure my dad or brother wouldn't say anything but it just plays on my mind.

Has anyone else ever said something to someone and then wished they hadn't?

Then go back to your Brother and Dad and tell them you got it wrong. Just say she likes a bit of variety..!!
Im sure if you ask your brother and dad not to say anything then they wouldnt. Well mine certainly wouldnt if I asked them. What benefit would they get out ofsaying anything? Or am I missing something??
Perhaps they already know ;o)

that might put it fresh in their mind again though just when they hopefully might be forgetting I ever said anything. :-/ lol

Sometimes you just need to get things off your chest about some people don't you - things which you can't say to their face for fear of hurting them/disappointing them like you say

I'm sure people most people wouldn't give this sort of thing a second thought.

I'd say they have forgotten about it now....so you're (again) worrying for nothing.
Your dad and brother's loyalties lie with you, so I dont understand why they would say anything if you have asked them not to.

lol elvis and baby ape.

Abbie - I have asked them not to say anything. Oh my mum knows too. None of them really see my landlady much anyway but you never know what might happen when they meet - slip of the tongue :-/
So you think your mum, dad and brother would actually say to this woman..."my daughter told me you are on the game"????? I agree with ummmm, you are worrying over nothing. If tis i the only thing you are worrying about, then you are lucky!!
What sections of this site do you go on Karma?

I know I'm a worrier - always a million things to worry about isn't there!

Like you say they probs wouldn't say anything (I'm 98% sure they wouldn't) but my brother can be a bit jokey sometimes he might put something up on facebook where landlady could see (as I've just added her)or if I fall out with brother etc. they might say something........no I'm sure they wouldn't even if we fell out! I should stop worrying!!

I go on chatterbank mainly, body and soul and media and tv with the odd browse of the others ummmm

no its not the only thing I'm worrying about unfortunately - that was just a niggly one in the back of my mind but I've got a few forefront worries too
-- answer removed --
I think if you browsed a bit more it might make you realise your worries are not worth worrying about.
